TCM Starter Mounting Bolts

The latest versions of the Sky-Tec ST2 starters utilize the stock TCM starter mounting through bolts with no required modification.  Earlier versions (ST2's manufactured before 2007) required shortening (or use of spacers with) the stock TCM starter mounting bolts.

Some aircraft owners are finding they do not have the original TCM starter mounting through bolts (hand-prop engines that have not recently had a starter on them, etc.) and have asked which bolts they should acquire for installation of the ST2.  Here's what we've been told:

As per Continental starters installation information Longer stud approx. 1.3400 deck height form accessory housing requires:   -         2 x TCM 538999 bolts -         3 x TCM 538600 lock-o-seals -         5 x TCM MS35338-45 lock washers -         3 x AN315-5 nuts -         3 x TCM22535 spacers   Installed as per Continental starter with exception of upper bolts being shorter – not 630966-4.00     FOR REFERENCE ONLY
